An important gathering of the Jokhio community was held in the historic Tayyab Jokhio Village of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, District East, Karachi, where the 18th anniversary of the Tayyab Welfare Association—founded by the late elder Nabi Bux Jokhio—was celebrated.

The event was attended by social leader Haji Allahuddin Jokhio, PPP leaders Riaz Baloch and Ayoob Ateeq, as well as the association’s president Nadeem Jokhio and other community members.

While addressing the ceremony, speakers stressed the urgent need to improve education and healthcare facilities in Tayyab Village. They said that education should be the top priority, warning that if children are deprived of learning, the upcoming generations may struggle to compete in a global city like Karachi.

Members of the Jokhio community also voiced complaints about the lack of basic facilities in their villages. In response, PPP leader Ayoob Ateeq assured them that their issues would be resolved soon.
