Mr. Syed Sardar Ali Shah, and Secretary Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi, to promote co-curricular excellence and linguistic proficiency among students, Season 03 of the All Sindh Youth Spelling Bee Competition commenced today from the Hyderabad Region.
Organized by the Directorate of Inspections and Registrations of Private Institutions Sindh in collaboration with Ziauddin College of Intermediate and A Levels, the event marked a vibrant beginning to the statewide competition. The contest witnessed an exhilarating display of intellect and confidence, with 38 teams and 114 participants competing from across the region.
A special note of appreciation was extended to Mrs. Rafia Javed Mallah, Additional Director, Directorate of Inspections and Registrations of Private Institutions Sindh, for her instrumental role in promoting and facilitating such enriching student-centered initiatives across the province.
The collaboration and continued support of Mr. Arsalaan Iqbal Leghari, Principal, Ziauddin College of Intermediate and A Levels, was also highly praised. His dedication and leadership have been pivotal in ensuring the success of this partnership. Mr. Leghari also served as the main pronouncer of the competition, conducting the rounds with remarkable energy and precision.
After several intense rounds of spelling battles, 9 teams successfully qualified for the finale round. The competition concluded with an exciting outcome — Hayat School and College dominated the leaderboard, as its Main Campus clinched the First Position, Fatima Campus secured the Second, and HM Campus bagged the Third Position.
It was indeed remarkable to see all three top positions earned by different campuses of the same institution. Cash prizes were awarded to all the participants in recognition of their commendable performance and enthusiasm.
